PASADENA, CALIFORNIA - Vince Young and Texas are second no more to Southern California and its Heisman Trophy twins, Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart. With the national championship down to a final play, Young scrambled for an 8-yard touchdown on fourth down with 19 seconds left and the No. 2 Longhorns stunned the top-ranked Trojans 41-38 in the Rose Bowl on Wednesday night.
How about those Longhorns tonight? What a great game that was, I was at work but my happiness spilled over as I was whooping and hollering as Texas beat the team that everybody said couldn't be beaten. Vince Young had an incredible night, The UT kicker needs to be benched just for giving me an ulcer but besides him the night was perfect.
There will be many babies conceived in the great state of Texas tonight.
