Al's Inconvenient Reality

Praying to the Altar of Al Gore never tasted more bitter... unless, of course, you like bitter things in your mouth - compliments of the man behind the altar.

Attention Hypo-crats: Say, "yum!"

Now spit.

You'd think the Oscar winner for An Inconvenient Truth would do a better job of practicing what he preaches, but the Tennessee Center for Policy Research has found that Gore's 20-room, 8-bathroom mansion consumes more electricity per month than the average American household uses in an entire year according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES).

In his "documentary," Al calls on Americans to conserve energy by reducing energy consumption at home.

Since the release of his "documentary," Al's energy consumption increased from an average of 16,200 kWh/month to 18,400 kWh/month. That's a 13.5% INCREASE against the conservation he thinks supposes real American's ought to achieve.

As it turns out, Al paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville digs in 2006.

So, which Inconvenient Reality is it: Al's appeal fell on his own un-American ears - leaving him exempt from his own appeal, he is a hypocrite, or both?
