Because the Law Doesn't Apply to KIRO-TV...
KIRO-TV (CBS) in Seattle apparently believes they are above the law when it comes to taking advantage of the disabled.Located at the Tacoma Police Department, of all places, on April 26, 2007, this KIRO news van was parked in a marked handicapped parking spot.
The reporter and assistant were overheard inside the building grousing about the TPD not having a media room to accomodate their coverage of either the Mayor or the Governor's expected visit later in the day. Having already set up some of their equipment outside, it's clear that KIRO had been in this spot for more than just a minute or two.
So, in thanks to the news media who doesn't care a whit to provide balanced reporting on what's truly going on in Iraq, this Soldier gets to return the favor by reporting when KIRO TV chooses to take advantage of the handicapped.
Way to go, KIRO!
