Once your mind gets beyond the hypocricy of the party of diversity willing to stoop to this level to score a few votes, think about the very personal nature of the attacks, especially in regards to Larry Craig. Still further, think about how cynical the strategy is: Rather than engage in the great arena of ideas, these cruel and sick infants prefer to attempt to supress democracy by alienating voters.
Even Kirsten Powers finds it revolting:
The outing of gay people is about what exactly? What is their "moral" crime that is akin to adultery? Don't liberals believe that being gay is ok? Ahh...yes. But being gay and not thinking like liberals think is apparently "immoral." Who says so? The Liberal Police. Who will they target next?
Good question. Naturally, now Powers is under attack for daring to criticize the Liberal Police.
The irony, of course, is that the misguided effort to slander decent people shows a total lack of understanding of the so-called "religious right."
Perhaps someone could remind me who it was that said (paraphrasing) "it's one thing to lose an election, it's another to lose your honor." If this is what the Democratic nutroots are reduced to in order to secure election victories, honor left the building long ago.
How any decent liberal could align themselves with this party of hatred much less condone this absolutely sleazy garbage is beyond me.
Totally off the subject, I had the rare opportunity of a one-on-one interview with Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty yesterday. I have posted thoughts on that interview at Les Enfants Terrible in case anyone is interested in a sneak peek at an up-and-coming Republican.
