Celebrating D2K

The Pee-Eye of the Socialist People's Republic of Seattle, otherwise known as the Seattle P.I. was certain to give the entire upper-fold of today's front page to the 2,000th U.S. casualty in Iraq.

Nevermind the fact that, at the current rate (2000 deaths/31 months, or approx 65 deaths per month), it would take almost 35 years to meet the number of
U.S. deaths we sustained in World War II (405,000 /15 yrs, or approx 2252 deaths per month).

Now ask me how much space the Pee-Eye gave to Iraq's incredible voter turnout (despite incredible armed opposition) in the adoption of their Constitution...

Ok. You don't really have to ask me that.

Chalk another one up to the "unbiased" MSM. As we know, the P.I. is not alone in their glee for an artificial milestone.
