Quote from the linked article below:
"The actions of underground activists who care enough about animals to speak out in no uncertain terms, and at times to risk their own lives and freedom, have a message that is most urgent and one that deserves to be heard and understood," he said. "Often underground animal liberation speech and actions either go unreported in the media or are uncritically vilified as 'violent' or 'terrorist,' with no attention paid to the needless and senseless suffering that industries and individuals gratuitously inflict on animals."
Animal rights activist:'Kill the researchers'
"Jerry Vlasak, spokesman for the Animal Liberation Front, told the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works that killing medical researchers was "morally justified" to save laboratory animals."
Aren't the members of this organization just the 'bomb'! I speak in literal terms of course. And aren't they just what all children should strive to become when they grow up? Or hell, grown ups for that matter?
What awes me so much about these people is that they would 'risk their own lives and freedom' for the sake of animals. Oh, man, that is so inspiring.
After all, a human cannot, in most cases, have a 'litter' of babies. Rabbits, mice, dogs, cats, well gee, they can have multiples within months of eachother hence the phrase "---- like rabbits". And what HORRIBLE people these researchers are. What RIGHT do they have using animals to make cures for diseases that have been saving the human race for decades? Or the animals perhaps?
When one really thinks about it, humans have done nothing but horrible things anyway, including members of SHAC, PETA, oh my, I have to say it, the military, President Bush and other various groups. They have not come up with anything intelligent that would possibly save an animal, surgery, medications. Animals on the other hand, well, they're just nice to look at, nice to photograph, but one must keep their distance from certain ones as to not disturb their habitat and cause them to protect their territory resulting in death. Interesting creatures, I like to observe animals. They have so much more to offer.
The Animal Liberation Front advocate killing their own species, they threaten people who dare to go against their belief system and they vandalize. Sounds much like some other animal rights groups. I really feel that a class teaching violence and terrorism is in order. Or better yet, a class to teach those of us out there that think science is a good thing that we can all live as one, co-habitate, love one another, bond in mental, physical and emotional ways.
Oh....my.....God!
