How sad is it that our own military has to protect themselves from our own countrymen in the midst of this disasterous hurricane. That they have to fear being shot, that rescue helicoptors are being shot at in attempts to deliver supplies.
I feel for these peoples' misfortune, I ache inside and feel guilt for sitting in the safety and comfort of my own home but I just cannot excuse their violent ways of showing gratitude and gratefulness. And I don't care how horrible their lives may be at this very moment, 'biting' the hand that feeds you is unforgiveable.
Update: Wendell Bailey of Algiers (New Orleans) has been arrested and charged with shooting at military rescue helicopters.
