Telegraph Reports on Mythical Battle

This story from the Syrian border brings to mind a line from the blog of Dave, now a prominent racist-identifier for The Blue Voice. In this old post, he takes a conservative to task for this statement:

The bulk of the terrorists in Iraq are from groups outside of Iraq that are afraid of freedom in the Middle East.

Dave responded thusly:

This is one of those myths that have been fabricated out of whole cloth. This was said again and again as we destroyed the city of Faluja. Out of the over 1,000 people detained during that operation less than 20 were foreigners. And yet we are to believe that the bulk of these people are foreign fighters.

The telegraph reports today that there is a mythical battle happening between Iraqi insurgents and mythical "foreign fighters."

Tribal leaders in Husaybah are attacking followers of Abu Musab Zarqawi, the Jordanian-born terrorist who established the town as an entry point for al-Qa'eda jihadists being smuggled into the country.

Notice the Telegraph's failure to use the word mythical in their article. This clearly demostrates an anti-freedom-fighter bias, as they apparently didn't read Dave's post where he settled the question once and for all...from southern California.
