Paris - Two Californian students arrested Wednesday night for posing nude for photos near the Arc de Triomphe in downtown Paris were released on Thursday, police said. The men were posing for friends completely naked, apparently to win a bet, when they were surprised by a police patrol cruising by at 11:15 p.m. (2115 GMT) on Wednesday. Police said the young men were drunk and tried to escape, but were caught and kept in jail overnight. They were released early Thursday afternoon, police said. The two were identified as Jordan Fong, 25, of San Francisco and Alexander Gueret, 19, whose hometown was not provided. (Drudge)
Now, if these were Army Soldiers, the lunatic fringe of the imploding-left would be making the quantum leap to insisting that these two were ordered, ORDERED - probably by Bush, or the Pope, or God-himself (you know, that Rove guy) - from the highest echelons of the vast right wing conspiracy to go out and defile a Parisian cultural landmark with... uh, swinging richards.
The überleft would further insist - from their Senate podium, no less - that this was a BushMonkey effort by the troops (whom they oh-so-Patriotically "support") to get back at France for not capitulating on our march to war against the innocent and peace-loving citizens of the Middle East.
Silly knuckleheads... don't they realize we service members are going to pose as liberal college students from California in our next phase to overthrow everything to the left of Pol Pot?!
