The left loves to hurl words around as though they were bullets, and I suppose, for pascifists, that is about the equivilent. Perhaps that is why things are going so south in the Democratic Party. Instead of creating it's own ideas, it is engaged in a war of words with the right, a war that they cannot win. Americans aren't particularily inspired by a bunch of whiny-baby victims, which is exactly what leftist leadership has become.
The leftist minions, with nothing else to go on, have joined the word assault ad nauseum, and we can even see evidence of it here at The Red Voice. While they feel some gratification having "scored big" against the "fascists," they generally only prove how intolerant and hateful the left has become.
Will Malven puts it thusly:
Once again we see the complete dissociation from reality and apparent permanent residence in a fantasy world. Apparently in their world, masses of hostile comments are supposed to in someway...I don’t know...intimidate me?-damage me?-worry me? Frankly I don’t understand their “logic.” Apparently they believe that words are harmful in some way. I guess if I was an insecure weak kneed Liberal, I would be rendered powerless by their onslaught of hate. Really pitiful. I am gratified by it because it gives me the ammo I need to prove what kind of people these are. All they have really accomplished by their slamming attack is raise my profile on the internet, and provide me with more grist for the word mill. Please don’t throw me into that briar patch.
Brer Rabbit couldn't have said it better. Everytime a leftist goes off on their frothing at the mouth rants, it further erodes their cause. It illustrates the tiny-mind syndrome prevalent in the modern Democratic Party.
Personally I would have gone with a tar baby analogy, but that is why Malven has a writing job and I don't.
